Viblo AI Alternatives: Real Prices and Refund Terms 2026

Search Viblo AI and Google hands you the homepage, a Trustpilot page, and one competitor's advertorial. None of them tell you what a finished video actually costs, and none of them quote the refund policy you agree to when the seven day trial converts.

So I priced it. Four tools, the same unit, every number pulled from the live pricing pages on 8 October 2026.

What Viblo AI actually charges

Viblo is a browser based short form editor. You upload footage or a script, it auto clips, generates an ElevenLabs voiceover, burns captions, and exports vertical. There is no free tier. There is a seven day trial that takes your card first.

Three plans, straight off its pricing page:

PlanMonthlyBilled yearlyShort videos/monthCredits
Starter$25$15030200
Creator$49$29490500
Business$99$5942001,200

Fast Mode caps at 60 seconds on Starter. Cinematic Mode and multi platform publishing start on Creator at $49. Team access and bulk creation are Business only. The 35+ ElevenLabs voices are listed on all three tiers, although one viewer on the most watched walkthrough reported the voice library loading empty and asked which plan it needs.

One thing worth noticing before you commit. The homepage claims 100,000+ users worldwide, and the same site claims 100,000+ videos generated. Those are Viblo's own two figures, and together they average roughly one video per user. The pricing page footer puts active creators at 12,000. Read that however you like, but it is not the profile of a tool people keep running a channel on.

The number nobody publishes: cost per finished short

Every tool in this category prices on a different unit. Viblo sells video counts. Crayo sells workflow credits and export hours. Clippie sells export minutes. Taletok sells minutes of content. You cannot compare those, which is presumably the point.

Buyers notice. The most watched walkthrough of the tool on YouTube has 18,000 views and only 32 comments, and four of those comments are viewers asking what a video actually costs: how many credits a ranking video burns, what a single short works out at, whether a trial exists. The pinned comment on that video is a referral link.

Normalise them. One finished 60 second vertical video, using whichever limit on each plan runs out first:

ToolEntry planShorts/monthCost per shortMid planCost per short
Viblo$25 Starter30$0.83$49 Creator$0.54
Clippie AI$19.99 Lite30$0.67$34.99 Creator$0.29
Taletok$27 Starter100$0.27$47 Pro$0.09
Crayo AI$13 Hobby120$0.11$27 Clipper$0.05

Crayo is the cheapest per short and I am not going to pretend otherwise. Its $13, $27 and $55 tiers are annual billing rates, its credits reset every cycle, and the binding limit is export hours rather than credit count, but the arithmetic holds.

Viblo is the most expensive per finished video of the four, by a factor of eight against Crayo's entry plan and three against Taletok's. At 30 videos a month you cannot post daily on Starter at all. A faceless channel that publishes once a day needs 30 videos in a 30 day month, so Starter leaves you zero margin for a reroll when a voiceover clips or an image lands wrong.

Read the refund policy before you pick

This is where the four tools genuinely diverge, and no comparison page in these results mentions it.

ToolRefund policy as written
Viblo30 day money back, first subscription payment only
Crayo AI"Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds"
Clippie AI"All sales final"
TaletokRefund available if usage stays under the plan threshold

Viblo's guarantee is the most generous of the three competitors, and it is narrower than it sounds. Straight from the refund and cancellation policy, updated 3 January 2026:

  • The 30 day guarantee "applies to your first subscription payment only". Not renewals, not upgrades, not credit top ups.
  • After 30 days, refunds cover duplicate charges or a verified outage, and you have 7 days from the charge to ask.
  • Refunds are explicitly not available for "dissatisfaction with results or outcomes achieved using the platform" or for "failure to cancel before a renewal date".
  • Credits and add ons bought during the trial are "final and non refundable".
  • In the EU and UK you get a 14 day withdrawal right, which you lose the moment you start using the platform.
  • Filing a chargeback before emailing support "is a violation of this policy and may result in suspension or termination of your account".

That last clause is the one to sit with. The policy reserves the right to close your account for disputing a charge, and your generated videos live inside that account.

Crayo and Clippie do not have a catch, because they do not have a guarantee. Crayo's own FAQ says it plainly. Clippie prints "All sales final" under every plan. If you are evaluating Crayo AI alternatives or weighing up Clippie.ai alternatives, price that in: your trial is your first month, and you are paying for it.

Five alternatives, and who each one suits

Most people hunting a Viblo AI alternative are doing it after the trial has already converted, so the order below is by what you are trying to fix rather than by score.

Taletok, for a faceless channel that posts itself

The reason to move here is autoposting. Taletok runs series: pick a format, set a schedule, and it generates and publishes to YouTube without you opening the editor. Viblo exports a file and stops. Over a 30 day month that is the difference between making videos and running a channel.

Formats include Reddit stories up to 10 minutes, Zack D Films style 3D shorts, 4chan greentext, AI Shorts, true crime and POV. The long form output matters if you plan to monetise with ad revenue rather than Shorts pennies, which is most of the reason people start a faceless YouTube channel in the first place.

Pricing: $27 Starter (100 minutes of content a month), $47 Pro (500 minutes), $77 Optimum (1,000 minutes). Channel Year billing drops those to $13.50, $23.50 and $38.50 a month. Every new account gets 2 free videos with no card.

Weakness: YouTube is the only platform with native autoposting. TikTok and Instagram are download and upload.

Make your first faceless reel

Crayo AI, for the lowest cost per clip

Cheapest per finished short of anything here, with a wide tool spread: AutoClip, Reddit videos, fake texts, face swap, subtitle remover, voice changer. Social tracking covers 1, 3 or 10 accounts depending on tier.

Weakness: tracking is not posting, and there are no refunds at all. Credits reset monthly with no rollover.

Clippie AI, for template variety

The template library is the product: Reddit videos, split screen podcast clips, Would You Rather, Top 5, quizzes, voiceover over gameplay. Captions in 102+ languages, 50+ voices on every plan. It is also the page currently ranking for Viblo's own brand name, which tells you how seriously it takes this comparison.

Weakness: Lite gives you 30 minutes of export for $19.99, which is one short a day and nothing else. All sales final.

Vadoo AI, for model breadth

Worth a look if you want to pick between video models rather than have one chosen for you. It is a creative platform, not a channel growth tool, and the gap shows the moment you want a schedule. Full breakdown in our Vadoo AI alternatives comparison.

AutoShorts.ai, for simple scheduled output

Closest to Viblo in shape, with scheduling attached. Format range is narrower than Taletok's and the editor gives you less scene level control. See the AutoShorts.ai alternatives write up for the detail.

Cancelling without getting charged twice

Viblo's trial converts automatically. The policy is unambiguous: entering your card "authorises Viblo AI to charge your payment method automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before renewal".

Two routes exist. Cancel in the dashboard under subscription or billing settings, or email [email protected] with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" from your account address. Billing replies are quoted at 1 to 2 business days, approved refunds at 5 to 10.

The failure mode here is not specific to Viblo, and creators document it constantly. On r/generativeAI a user described cancelling a different seven day AI trial, clicking "Cancel Subscription" and then "Cancel Plan", closing the feedback form that appeared because it looked optional, and being charged $29 a week later. The subscription had not actually been cancelled without that form. A thread on r/kimi reported the opposite problem, no cancel control in the product at all, with the most useful reply being a four step routine: cancel in the app and screenshot it, email support so there is a paper trail, dispute with the card issuer only after that, and use a virtual card for trials.

Take the screenshot. It costs nothing and it is the only evidence you will have.

What switching actually fixes

Worth being honest about what a tool swap does not solve. A founder in r/SideProject who built a faceless video generator published his own numbers in February 2026: $384 in revenue across 15 payments and $38 refunded, roughly a 10% refund rate, which he put down to output quality. Another faceless operator in the same subreddit summed the category up better than any review has: AI content tools "look impressive at first, but after a few videos everything starts feeling identical".

That is the real failure mode. Not the price, not the trial. Every tool here will hand you a competent 45 second vertical with captions on day one. The question is whether it still feels like your channel at video 90, which is why format depth and scene level control matter more than the headline rate, and why a tool with YouTube automation built in beats a faster exporter.

FAQ

Is Viblo AI free?

No. There is no free plan. Viblo offers a seven day trial that requires card details up front, and the trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends. Paid plans start at $25 a month.

How can I use Viblo AI for free?

Only through the seven day trial, and only once. The refund policy limits trials to one per person, household or payment method. If you want to test a faceless tool without a card at all, Taletok gives every new account 2 free videos.

Is Viblo AI legit?

It is a real product from Viblo AI LLC, a Wyoming registered company, with published terms, a refund policy and a claimed Trustpilot profile. The recurring complaints in public reviews are about trial charges and cancellation friction rather than the software failing to produce video. Treat the APK and "free APK" results with care: the Android listing that surfaces for those searches has a package name belonging to a wallpaper app, not to Viblo. Weigh the review videos the same way. Every one on the first page of YouTube carries a referral link, so the enthusiasm you find there is paid for.

How do I cancel a Viblo AI subscription?

Cancel in your account dashboard under subscription or billing settings, or email [email protected] with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" from your registered address. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period unless the 30 day first payment guarantee still applies.

Which Viblo alternative is cheapest per video?

Crayo AI, at roughly $0.05 per finished 60 second short on its $27 Clipper tier, against $0.54 on Viblo's $49 Creator plan. Crayo has no refund policy and does not publish to your channels, so cheapest per clip is not the same as cheapest per posted video.

What is the best Viblo alternative for a faceless YouTube channel?

Taletok, because it is the only option here that posts to YouTube on a schedule and generates long form content up to 10 minutes rather than Shorts alone. If your channel plan depends on ad revenue, that combination is the whole job.
