VEED Alternatives: The Monthly Price Is Actually $25

Search VEED and the review on the first page prices Creator at $12 a month. That number is the annual bill divided by 12. The monthly charge, from the US prices the pricing page uses to draw its cards on 15 October 2026, is $25.

The page opens on the annual figures. A free export keeps a watermark at 720p. The terms let the free plan train on files you upload. The rest of this is the toggle, the credit ladder, and a comparison with a finished short rather than another seat in an editor.

What VEED pricing actually charges

Plans are per seat. The pricing FAQ says the amount "is multiplied by the number of editors in your workspace." A solo channel pays the card once. A second editor doubles it.

These are the base seats, one editor, US dollars.

PlanPay monthlyPay the year todayFigure on the annual cardAI creditsClean export
Free$0$0$050No. Watermark, 720p, 10 minutes
Creator$25$147$12.25500Yes, 1080p
Pro$45$265$22.082,500Yes, 4K width
Studio$79$465$38.7515,000Yes, 4K width, up to 5 editors

The annual card divides the year by 12. Creator's $147 becomes $12.25, which is the $12 that review rounded to the dollar. Pro's $265 becomes $22.08, rounded to $22 in the same writeup. Studio's $465 becomes $38.75, rounded to $39. Pay monthly and the price is about double.

The page is built to open on annual billing. That is why, on 29 April 2026, someone on r/VEED_Community finished adding captions and could not find a monthly option at all. They asked whether the company only bills yearly. The monthly prices exist. They are not the view you land on.

Do not buy the year to test a channel. $147 up front for Creator is a bad bet before you know the shorts will actually go out. If you have no footage yet, a finished faceless short is a different purchase, and the table further down prices it against this seat.

Creator is five prices wearing one name

Creator at $25 is the base seat, and it includes 500 AI credits. The same name also sells at $35, $45, $75 and $125 a month, for 1,500, 2,500, 5,500 and 10,500 credits. Pro starts at $45 for 2,500 credits and climbs to $145 for 15,000. Studio starts at $79 for 15,000 and climbs to $179 for 28,000.

The FAQ is plain about leftovers. "Credits do not carry over." The allowance refreshes when the subscription renews, and whatever you did not spend is gone. A Capterra review on this search says the writer paid for months, dropped to the free plan, and lost the unused credits. That is the FAQ working as written. The $25 seat is what removes the watermark. The $125 seat is what buys the big credit pack.

A free export is a watermarked demo

If you came in asking is veed io free, split the answer. The account is free. A clean export is not.

Free, from that same US price list: a watermark in the corner, which the FAQ places on "videos that are created on the free plan." Export quality is stored as 1280, and the page labels that 720p. The maximum export length is 600 seconds. Auto subtitles are allowed for 600 seconds, against 180,000 seconds (50 hours) on the paid seats. Storage is 2 million KB, the 2 GB figure reviews quote. AI credits: 50.

Creator moves the export label to 1080p and does not set a maximum length. Pro and Studio store the export setting as 4096, the 4K frame width, with about 48 GB of storage (50 million KB). The review that calls Studio storage unlimited is ahead of the plan data.

A faceless short is usually under 60 seconds, so the 10 minute cap is not what bites. The watermark is. A 720p file with a logo in the corner is a reason to swipe, and YouTube Shorts monetization is won by people staying. The free plan is a demo, and the contract adds a second limit.

Free uploads can train their models

You keep ownership of what you upload. The terms of use, last updated 22 April 2024, say so. Then, for a Free subscription only, you grant a further right: a worldwide, transferable licence to use that content to develop the product, "including to train, test and develop any relevant artificial intelligence models."

While you stay on Free, that licence is irrevocable. You revoke it by deleting the account or moving to a paid plan. After you object, the company may still keep information derived from the files once it has been deidentified, anonymised or aggregated. Paid plans do not grant the training right. The terms name those paid plans Basic, Pro and Business. The pricing page now says Creator, Pro and Studio. The contract has not caught up with the buttons.

If the footage is not yours to hand to a model, do not upload it on the free plan. Pay the $25, or keep the file off the site. The same terms page also lists two registered offices for Veed Limited, company 11264311: Benfleet in the subscription terms, Shoreditch in the terms of use. The labels drifted. The training clause did not.

The 14 day refund dies when you add captions

The pricing FAQ says you can cancel anytime. Turn off auto renewal under Team Billing, and premium features last until the cycle ends. The terms of use and the terms of sale are stricter than that sentence.

A consumer who has paid, never used the product, and cancels inside 14 days is owed a full refund. Usage includes uploading media, editing, and adding subtitles. Add the captions you opened the tool to add, and that 14 day window no longer pays you back. The terms say they are not obliged to refund you once you have used the service.

Renewals want two business days of notice. Miss that and the subscription renews, and cancelling it is not a refund. A Capterra review on this search describes a $348 auto renewal, a cancellation eight days later, and a refused refund. Today's base years are $147, $265 and $465, so $348 is not the base year on the card. The terms back a refusal once the account has been used.

Treat the first export as the purchase. If the colours come out wrong, you are in a support thread, not a refund form. A post on r/VEED_Community on 16 September 2026 describes exactly that: exports in strange colours, email only support, and days to weeks of waiting.

What a veed io review skips

YouTube is thin for a name this searched. The most watched tutorial is three years old, from Dan Kieft, at 67,001 views. A video from about two months ago, Julia McCoy's, has 22,027. The company's own recent upload was listed at 852 views. I could not read the comments, so I will not invent any. The complaints that rank are about money: TechRadar's veed io review prints the annual card, and Capterra's headlines are "Misleading pricing plan" and the $348 renewal.

The bare name also returns a Play listing, "Veed Ai Video Advisor," under a package id that is not veed.io. Related searches ask for a captions APK. The editor is the site, in the browser. If a download wants you to sideload an APK, close it.

VEED alternatives for a faceless channel

This is an editor. You still write the script, find the pictures, cut, caption and export. Fair, if you already filmed. A poor way to start a faceless YouTube channel that has no footage yet. A faceless TikTok workflow has the same split: the slow part is the assembly, not the seat.

Taletok Starter$27 a month100 minutes of finished videoNoChannel Year can roll for 2 months

Starter at $27 is 100 minutes, so 27 cents for a finished 60 second short, with the script, visuals, voice, music and captions already in it. Channel Year is $162, which is $13.50 a month, and those credits can roll for up to two months. The $12.25 figure on the other card exists only if you pay $147 today, and you still leave with a project you have to finish yourself.

Post one short a month and both seats cost about $25, except the editor still leaves you the labour. Post every day and $25 across 30 exports is about 83 cents of seat cost per short. The labour is still yours. VEED AI is the right buy when the video is already shot and you want subtitles plus a clean 1080p file. It is the wrong buy when the job is the whole short. Narration on its own is a different market, and Narakeet's per minute packs cover that. For the finished vertical video, the faceless reels generator is the comparison that matches the work.

Buy Creator monthly if you buy this at all. Not Pro, unless you need the 4K width and the larger credit pack. Not the year, until you have already kept a posting schedule for a month. YouTube's monetisation requirements still judge the video, not the editor that exported it.

FAQ

Is VEED actually free?

You can export without paying. The file is watermarked, limited to 720p and 10 minutes, with 10 minutes of auto subtitles and 50 AI credits. Any paid plan removes the watermark. The cheapest is Creator at $25 a month, or $147 for the year.

What is VEED used for?

Browser editing and generation: auto subtitles, translation, avatars, text to video, and a normal timeline. Faceless channels mostly meet it as the place to burn captions onto a short. It does not write the series, and it does not post it.

Is VEED a safe site?

veed.io is Veed Limited, UK company 11264311. Use that site. Skip APK downloads and Play listings that only borrow the name. Read the billing toggle before you pay, because the card opens on the annual price.

What does VEED mean?

The pricing page and the terms do not expand the name. In this search it means the editor at veed.io. It is not a YouTube feature and it is not a file format.

Do the credits roll over?

No. The allowance refreshes at renewal, and credits do not carry over. Dropping to the free plan does not keep what you already paid for.

Is there a paid trial?

Not for a solo editor. The pricing FAQ offers a free trial to enterprise customers only, and only with at least 3 users. Everyone else is on the watermarked free plan, or on a paid seat.
